WELCOME MESSAGE
The prospects and problems of development cannot be fully grasped outside of its social, economic and geo-political environment. As for the political environment, the present administration in the State is fully committed to the development of the State for it to take its place of pride among the comity of States and beyond. The Ministry of Economic Planning as the lead government agency for development would leave no stone unturned towards achieving this objective.
As a Ministry, we shall pursue good practices that would bestow good life on our people through a robust citizen budget that will enhance the quality of lives of the people of the State. Towards bringing governance closer to the people the Ministry is deploying ICT such that distance will not be a barrier to doing business with government or making available information that would enable government to better serve the people of the State.
